A handheld digital analyser for 12V car, van and leisure batteries. Clip it to the terminals and it reads the battery's voltage, internal resistance and cold cranking amps (CCA), which together give a far better picture of the battery's health than a voltage reading alone. Practical tip: test with the engine off and the car rested for a few hours for the truest reading, and note the result so you can compare it next time.
