A sheet of diamond-pattern aluminium alloy mesh for making a replacement or custom grille insert. Cut it to shape and fit it behind a damaged or open grille, a bumper vent or a bonnet scoop to keep stones and leaves out of the radiator and give the front of the car a cleaner look. At about 2mm thick it holds its shape but still cuts with tin snips.

Fitment: universal. It is a plain sheet, not a shaped part, so measure the opening you want to fill before ordering.
Practical tip: make a card template of the opening first, cut the mesh slightly oversize and file the edges smooth, then fix it with cable ties or small self-tappers from behind.
