Silverhook Silicone Grease Tube 80ml

Silverhook Silicone Grease Tube 80ml is a highly efficient water repellent and non-melting silicone grease lubricant. It's an ideal product for lubricating plastic and polythene water pipes, fluid pipework during assembly, and other industrial applications. The product is environmentally and user-friendly, making it safe and reliable for use in a variety of settings.

With an operating temperature of -30 to +180 degrees Celsius, Silverhook Silicone Grease can withstand harsh environments without losing its lubrication properties. It's suitable for use in the construction of plastic and polythene pipework, where it aids in "O" ring assembly and acts as a water and air-tight seal on the joint face for the duration of the fixture. Additionally, the anti-tracking and anti-corona discharge coating protect electric systems and assemblies, making it ideal for use in the automotive industry.

The product is tasteless, odourless and non-toxic, making it safe to use. It has no effect on plastics, rubbers or metals, and it remains essentially unaltered in daylight and UV light. Silverhook Silicone Grease Tube 80ml provides excellent protection of porous metallic or ceramic coated metals exposed to seawater spray and rain. It's an ideal lubricant for "O" rings and seals in pneumatics, compressed air systems, and plastic plumbing systems used in the construction industry.

The lubricant is also suitable for use in instruments subject to high and low extreme temperatures, centrifuge and autoclave lid seals, cold room trolley casters, and as an anti-spatter agent. The product is also useful as a glass and ceramic stopcock and gland lubricant and release agent.

As with all greases used the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge bearings prior to application. Likewise, as a general rule, take care not to over-lubricate and only apply the quantity of grease recommended by the bearing manufacturer.
