Wireless vibration alarm with remote, for van doors

A stick-on vibration alarm with a remote control. Fix it to the inside of a van door, a garage door or a shed and it sounds a siren when the door is knocked, forced or opened. Arm and disarm it with the remote.

Spec (supplier stated): 120-decibel siren; runs on a 9V battery (check the box for whether one is included). No wiring needed. It senses vibration rather than movement inside the van, so treat it as a door alarm. It is not a Thatcham-rated alarm and won't replace a proper van alarm or immobiliser.

Questions

Will it go off in the wind? It can if it is fitted to a thin, flexible panel. Turn the sensitivity down and fix it to the door itself rather than a body panel, so it reacts to the door being knocked or forced rather than to gusts.

Does it need wiring? No. It sticks on and runs on a 9V battery, so there is nothing to connect.

Is it Thatcham-rated? No. Treat it as a loud door alarm and use it alongside a steering wheel lock or OBD port lock, not instead of a fitted alarm or immobiliser.

Can I use it on a shed or garage? Yes. It works on any door that gets knocked or opened: shed, garage, gate or a van door.
